Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading, creating an account in or using the Finside app (the "App", the "Service"), you accept these Terms of Use (the "Terms"). When you first sign in, you will be asked to explicitly accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept the Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description and Scope of the Service

Finside is a financial literacy assistant that helps users track their own financial portfolios.

Finside is NOT an investment advisory, brokerage or portfolio management service. The App:

• Does not connect to any real brokerage/bank account and does not send real buy or sell orders,
• Provides AI answers, comments and suggestions for general information only; they should not be treated as personalized investment advice,
• Uses market data from third-party sources, which may be delayed and whose accuracy is not guaranteed,
• Past performance is not an indicator of future results.

Before making an investment decision, we recommend doing your own independent research and, if needed, consulting an authorized financial advisor.

3. Creating an Account and Eligibility

• To use the App, you need to sign in with a Google account, an Apple account or email.
• If you are under 18, you should not use the App.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure (e.g. the security of your Google or Apple account). You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter; it is not verified and is based entirely on your own declaration.

4. User Obligations

When using the App, you agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose,
• Take actions that would damage, overload or try to bypass the security of the App's infrastructure,
• Try to access another user's account without permission,
• Misuse the AI feature to produce unlawful, misleading or harmful content,
• Abuse the friend invitation campaign (see Section 5.5) with fake accounts or by any other means.

5. FinStart and FinPro Subscription

Finside's core features are free. Some features are included in the paid FinPro subscription.

5.1 Limits for FinStart use

• Finside Assistant: a daily message limit applies
• AI review of your investment plan: once a month
• Portfolio import by photo: exclusive to FinPro, not available on FinStart
• Chart interpretation: exclusive to FinPro

Market data, portfolio tracking, CSV import, news and KAP disclosures are also available for free.

Current limits are shown in the app on the FinPro screen. You can also find out how many daily uses you have left by asking the Assistant.

5.2 FinPro subscription

The FinPro subscription is offered monthly, every 3 months or yearly; current prices, any free trial period and renewal terms are shown on the purchase screen and in the store you downloaded the app from. The terms you see at the time of purchase apply.

With FinPro, portfolio import by photo is limited to 15 imports per month; this limit exists to prevent misuse and cost abuse.

5.3 Payment, renewal and cancellation

• Payment is charged through your account in the store you downloaded the app from. We do not see or store your card details.
• The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period; to stop renewal, you need to cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends in the relevant store's subscription settings (Google Play → Subscriptions or App Store → Apple ID → Subscriptions).
• When you cancel, you can keep using FinPro features until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refund and withdrawal requests are subject to the refund policy of the store where you made the purchase; since Google or Apple collects the payment, the refund process also runs through that store. Your rights under consumer legislation are reserved.
• For a plan that includes a free trial, you will be charged if you do not cancel before the trial ends.

5.4 Changes to limits

We may change free usage limits and the scope of Pro from time to time. If we make a material change that is unfavorable to an existing subscription, we will inform you before the change takes effect.

5.5 Friend invitation campaign

From time to time, we offer a campaign where you can earn free FinPro time for the people you invite. How the campaign works:

• Every user gets their own permanent invite code.
• Your invitation counts as valid once the person you invited signs up and completes the app's onboarding flow. An account that only signs up and never uses the app does not count as an invitation.
• You earn free FinPro time for a certain number of valid invitations. The number of valid invitations, the time earned and the overall cap are shown on the in-app campaign screen; the campaign terms apply as stated there.
• You cannot invite yourself. Rewards earned with fake, duplicate or automatically created accounts may be cancelled, and in case of abuse your account may be suspended.
• We may change or end the campaign with prior notice. Even if the campaign ends, the free time you have earned and that has been granted up to that point is kept.
• Free Pro time is not a monetary claim; it cannot be converted to cash, transferred or refunded.

6. AI Features

Chat answers, investment plan reviews, reading portfolio photos and news processing in the app are generated by large language models. These answers:

• may contain inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information,
• are not investment advice and should not be interpreted as such,
• are personalized based on portfolio/profile context, but this does not make them a personalized financial recommendation.

Finside Assistant only answers questions about finance and financial literacy; it does not respond to requests outside this scope.

For portfolio import by photo, the model tries to read the text in the image; the reading may be inaccurate, so a review screen is shown before saving and you can correct the data.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services such as Supabase, OpenRouter, RevenueCat, Google Play Billing and the Apple App Store, Google and Apple, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Yahoo Finance, the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) and various news sources. These services' own terms of use and privacy policies apply; we do not guarantee that these services will work without interruption or error.

8. Intellectual Property

The App itself, its design, logo and brand belong to Finside. The data you enter into the App (portfolio, profile information, etc.) belongs to you; we process it in order to provide the Service to you (see the Privacy Policy).

News content and company disclosures shown in the App belong to their respective sources and are presented for information only, with attribution to the source.

9. Account Deletion and Termination

• You can permanently delete your account at any time by following "Delete My Account" on the Account screen in the App (see Privacy Policy Section 7).
• Deleting your account does not automatically end an active subscription; you must cancel the subscription separately through the store you bought it from.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty that it will work without interruption or error,
• We cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from investment decisions made based on information in the App,
• We cannot be held liable for problems caused by interruptions or errors in third-party services.

This limitation does not prevent the application of mandatory provisions of consumer legislation.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If the Terms change materially, you will be asked to accept the updated text the next time you open the app. The current version is always available on this page (finside.app/kullanim-sartlari).

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. The courts and enforcement offices of Turkey have jurisdiction over disputes.
